My memo is written to my direct manager requesting him to review a letter I plan to submit to one of our recent candidates. The memo is written in a formal style as this is the preferred internal communication style for this company. I emphasize the details included in this letter so the reader knows what to expect. I also express the importance of the feedback required to maintain our professional relationships with our clients.

Memo

Date: February 18, 2017

To: Mitch Pribula

From: Whitney Syverson

Subject: Letter to candidate John Doe

Per your request, I have attached the draft of my letter to John Doe requesting the additional information you have suggested.

In my letter, I address the gaps in employment when Mr. Doe worked for CrossCountry Freight Solutions and CI Sport. I ensure not to come across disrespectful or judgmental.  Additionally, I note there are some dates missing entirely on the application for past job history and that I am willing to assist if needed.

As you are aware, it is important for us to address these types of issues to maintain our positive relationships with our clients. Furthermore, I have explained to Mr. Doe why correct information is necessary to submit the application to the client, which will ensure proper review of his materials.

Thank you for sending your suggestions the last few days. My main priority is to maintain the relationships we have built with our clients. Please let me know if any adjustments need to be made to the letter before submission. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at wsyverson@aerotek.com.

Sincerely,

Whitney Syverson
